CO2 Tank Breather Filters for Demineralized and Condensate Water Tanks

We can offer you two optional CO2 Tank Breather Filter (TBF) technologies:

1) Automatic AM-CO2 TBF VONEN, with an autonomy of above 15 years - Efficacy 100,000%

2) CS-CO2 TBF VONEN, with disposable absorbent (soda lime) cartridges - Efficacy up to 95%

1) Autonomous AM-CO2 TBF FILTER - Efficacy 100,000%

In the AM-CO2 TBF filter, Carbon Dioxide is adsorbed by weak basic amine groups
bonded to a porous resin structure.

Benefits

-  The AM-CO2 TBF filter offer a superior CO2 filtration efficiency: 100,000%,
< 0,5 ppm CO2 in filtered air at
25
°C..

-  The AM-CO2 TBF filter is Maintenance-Free.

-  The AM-CO2 TBF filter does not require control of absorbent saturation.

-  The AM-CO2 TBF filter does not require replacement, transport and storage of absorbent.

-  The AM-CO2 TBF filters eliminates the risk of human error in maintenance (delays in
changing the absorbent or incorrect mounting of the absorbent cartridges).

-  The AM-CO2 TBF filter guarantees a high quality of the end product, demineralized water.

-  The AM-CO2 TBF filter has the CE Marking.

Process description

The filter consists of 2 identical filtration units. When the first one is filtering, the second is regenerating and vice versa. The filtration + regeneration cycles last 6 + 6 or 12 + 12 hours. The electronic process control unit controls the filtering and regenerating processes automatically, and no user actions are needed.

Maintenance

Replace the prefilter once or twice a year:

2) CS-CO2 TBF VONEN, with disposable absorbent (soda lime) filter cells - Efficiency up to 95-98%

The CS-CO2 TBF filter housing is manufactured in grade 304 stainless steel with provision for side withdrawal of filter cells, prefilters and postfilters. The filter is equipped with replacement filter cells of 15 - 33 kg each. The absorbent consists of 2,5 - 5 mm soda lime granules. The granules change their color from white to violet as the absorbent saturates. This color change can be observed by removing the filter cells from the filter and observing through the facings. The filter cells have to be replaced every three to twelve months, depending on the usage of the tank.

The internal honeycomb construction stops the settling and migration of the filter medium. This eliminates bypass of contaminated air without loss of absorption efficiency. The CO2 filtration efficiency is up to 95-98%
